Honoring those that died serving the US!

Yes, today is Memorial Day, a federal holiday in the United States for honoring and

mourning the U.S. military personnel who died while serving in the United States Armed Forces.

It is a day to remember the sacrifices that these men and women made for our country. There are many ways to observe Memorial Day. Some people visit cemeteries or memorials to pay their respects. Others participate in parades or other events that honor the fallen. Still, others simply take some time to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day and to be grateful for the service of our military.

No matter how you choose to observe Memorial Day, it is important to remember the sacrifices that have been made for our country. We owe a debt of gratitude to those who have served and who continue to serve in the military.

Here are some ways to observe Memorial Day:

  • Visit a cemetery or memorial to pay your respects.

  • Participate in a parade or other event that honors the fallen.

  • Take some time to reflect on the meaning of Memorial Day and to be grateful for the service of our military.

  • Donate to a charity that supports veterans or their families.

  • Volunteer your time to help veterans or their families.

  • Memorial Day is a time to remember and honor those who have given their lives for our country. It is also a time to reflect on the meaning of freedom and to be grateful for the sacrifices that have been made to protect it.

Make Memorial Day more than just a holiday!

Having a husband and 2 brothers-in-law that served makes me reflect on all the sacrifices they made.
